Parent Notice Board
I have two children at the Centre and both of them love it. We’ve used other childcare before but they’ve never been so happy. They are both thrilled to be dropped off at school in the morning. When we walk in, the teachers call out to them individually to say good morning and to make them feel welcome. At the beginning, they were upset to be dropped off and their teachers were super patient and distracted them. Now my 18 month old runs to the door to go to school in the morning. Every day when my 2 year old comes home, she has learned something new and is very happy with herself. She is also learning manners and has advanced so much socially since joining the Centre. She interacts with her friends and likes to tell us about them. When I go to pick them up, my one year old is always happy and playing with the teachers and the toys.
The teachers at the Centre are fantastic. They are always patient, kind and aware of what the kids are doing. When I call to check up during the day, they always take the time to let me know what my kids have been up to that day. The plans for the day are detailed and tailored to their level. The biggest change I’ve noticed is that they get along better with others, communicate more and have made friends. I decided to send my kids to daycare so they would learn to get along with other kids their age. At Brookvale, they play with others and have attentive teachers to show them what is and isn’t acceptable behaviour.
I am extremely happy with Brookvale and would recommend it to any other parents.

“The playground is so big with so many things for the children to do – they can ride bikes around the bike track, feed the chooks and collect the eggs, play in the sand pits, water the vege garden, run around in the wide open spaces, play make believe in the amphitheatre or play on the equipment. It is really amazing how much fun Tommy has at the centre and the wide variety of things he can do when he is there.”
